Tanya grew up in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, about forty minutes outside Philadelphia. She attends Northeastern as a computer science and design combined major. Her fashion influence did not come from the people of Lansdale but rather from the media she consumed from TV, social media, and Pinterest. In addition, from Instagram, Tanya gains inspiration from influencers like Emma Topp and travel accounts. Each day, the city streetwear style in Boston surrounds Tanya and gets her to think more closely about what she is wearing daily. Tanya is colorful, trendy, and polished. Her personality is relaxed while fun, showing through her outfits. A go-to outfit is a pair of straight jeans with a colorful or patterned top in a sweater, cardigan, or tank top, depending on the weather. She only wears silver for Jewelry, and she always has a few rings, layered necklaces, and a bracelet. White sneakers are her everyday favorite, but she also loves bringing out her white 'westernish' boots now and then.
She started up cycling for fun during quarantine and developed a deeper appreciation for fashion. Tanya began to be more critical of her style and shape it to what she dreamed it to be. Now, she is constantly thinking of ways to expand her wardrobe in a way that would maintain and add to her polished yet fun aesthetic. Much like the pandemic's start, every time she has a change in her environment, whether that be location or semester changes, her style evolves into something more of herself.
