Paris in Five Photos: One For Each Letter

The character of somebody is defined as the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. I think cities can also have character, and Paris has unique qualities shown in the streets. In the 21st century, billboards must exist in a city as large as Paris. For a town with very little in-your-face advertising, Paris does have distinctive billboards that change by rolling; this is my “P”. In Paris, we have to look both ways when crossing the street to check for bikers; this old Parisian bike is my “A”. Colorful street art is very prevalent in Paris; this little blue umbrella near the exit of a gallery is my “r”. Paris has very distinct poles that line the sidewalks for pedestrians, creating a barrier from cars. One night I found a pole out of water; this pole is my “i”. Finally, all of the beautiful museums here in Paris have impressive sculptures. The big elephant outside the Musee d'Orsay is my final letter: “S”. These pictures are one defining quality of Paris, and these letters aren’t going away anytime soon.
